Layout of the Cottages....
The old farm outbuildings have been converted into excellent holiday accommodation. Situated around the yard, each cottage is different and all have their own private garden area.
The living rooms all have three piece suites or large sofas; Free view T.V.; dining table and chairs; standard lamp; occasional tables; night storage heater and coal effect fire. The well equipped kitchens contain a full size ceramic hob electric cooker; fridge/freezer; microwave oven; electric kettle and toaster; plus pots and pans, cutlery, glasses and plenty of crockery; oven gloves, tea towels and cleaning materials. Some cottages also have a dishwasher. The tiled bathrooms all have a bath with a shower over; w.c. and wash hand basin; mirror, shaver point, heated towel rail and bathroom heater. The cloakrooms have an electric shower; w.c. and wash hand basin; mirror and shaver point; heated towel rail and bathroom heater. The bedrooms. The double bedrooms mostly have king size beds, plus a hair drier, radio/alarm clock and sewing kit. The twin, single and bunk beds are all standard 3’ beds. The bedrooms contain bedside tables with lamps; a chest of drawers with a mirror over; wardrobe and occasional chair. Every bedroom has an electric underblanket and heating, either night storage heater plus fan heater, or wall mounted convector heater. The beds (with duvets) are made up for your arrival. Please remember to state on the booking form which beds you require. Extra blankets are supplied. Some of the cottages have tiled floors with only the bedrooms carpeted, the rest are carpeted throughout with vinyl floor covering in the bathrooms and kitchens.
All of the cottages have their own private garden area with outdoor tables and benches. BBQ’s are available for your use.
The swimming pool is open during the summer months. The games rooms are for table tennis and snooker – a 6’ table, plus lots of tourist information. We have a laundry room with automatic washing machines and tumble driers.
A tea tray with fresh milk and fresh flowers are ready for your arrival.
